A sense of belonging at Trash’ure Taarten. A phenomenological study based on the employees of Trash'ure Taarten, who are status holders ,investigating the extent of a sense of belonging among these individuals
Abstract:
This thesis presents a phenomenological study looking at how the social enterprise of Trash'ure Taarten influences the sense of belonging of the status holders who work for them. The concept of sense of belonging consists of five different aspects. These aspects are place identity, place attachment, politics of belonging, language and financial resources. By using participatory observation and unstructured interviews on the work floor of Trash'ure Taarten, it was investigated which aspects emerge and what influence the social enterprise has on these aspects.
