dc.description.abstractAny employee’s voluntary behavior that exceeds their job description and is motivated by facilitating the organization’s success is called organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). In previous research, OCB has been found to be positively associated with organizational success. To identify related factors, this research aimed to investigate the relationship of three attitude-affiliated variables and three subjective-norms-associated variables with OCB. Specifically, the variables investigated in the framework of the theory of planned behavior for attitude are person-organization fit, growth mindset, and organizational commitment (OC), and for subjective norms organizational transparency, cultural inclusion, and psychological safety. A questionnaire was shared among the employees of the company Publitas, in which responses were measured on validated scales. The results show that only OC is positively associated with OCB. Suggestions for follow-up research are provided as well as practical implications on how to facilitate OCB at Publitas through increased OC.
