This Master’s thesis describes the design, implementation and evaluation of a neural network in an operating system kernel to classify processes based on their behaviour and assign scheduling priorities accordingly. The design of the system allows easy addition of features, making it an excellent platform for rapid prototyping of new scheduler features without requiring a rewrite or substantial modification of an existing scheduler.en_US
