Abstract
The purpose of this thesis was to create an accurate, readable, and critical composite edition for the two versions of Book of Consecrations in the London British Library Sloane MS 3850 and the London British Library Sloane MS 3853. It provides an introduction into the composition of the manuscripts and their position in magical tradition. Subsequently, this thesis individually analyses and compares the two versions of the chapters on the consecration of the book, the sword, the ring, the laminal, the sceptre, and the circle.
