Abstract
Brain-Computer Interfacing helps the completely and partly paralyzed regain the ability to interact with their environment. BCI-applications exist for controlling objects on a display, merely by shifting attention and moving the eyes. This thesis explores a method of continuous control of on-screen objects and their controlled stopping using a BCI. Results from this practical experiment show its potential when using overt attention, essentially acting as a proof-of-concept. Covert attention does not work nearly as well. More research needs to be done in order to create a framework that is fully optimized for everyday usage. It is time to put the paralyzed back in control.
