Abstract
The Banger Polder in the Kamijen district of Semarang was constructed a few years ago to ensure that the district is no longer flooded daily by tidal changes but only a few times a year by heavy rainfall. The residents of the neighbourhood should be aware of the importance of keeping the Banger Polder and its pump clean. Because a lot of waste enters the polder, the pump becomes clogged and can no longer do its job properly. In various ways, the awareness of the residents in the neighborhood on the Banger Polder and the waste situation is increased in order for the Banger Polder to remain a successful project.
