Abstract
In this master thesis the conflict between social and financial objectives within social enterprises is researched. First was researched how this conflict emerges within social enterprises on an individual, team and organizational level of analysis. The next question was how these levels of analysis are interrelated with each other. An important finding was that choices on one level of analysis inevitably have consequences for the other levels of analysis. Next to that this research brought several recommendations on how social enterprises can manage the conflict on the different levels of analysis.
