Abstract:
The predictive processing theory has been opposed to explain the pre-
dictive capabilities of the human brain. This theory has often been com-
pared to the process of Bayesian inference in a hybrid Bayesian network.
Di erent Bayesian models have been proposed to explain the decision
making and predictive properties of the brain. Explaining and comparing
these Bayesian models is one of the key factors in understanding the prob-
lems and capabilities of the models and the predictive processing theory.
This literature study will focus on the di erent models and their capabil-
ities to explain our cognitive processes.
