Abstract
It is not new that people have been on the move from the beginning of history and that these movements of people can be voluntary or caused by external factors that force them to move. The novelty in the contemporary transit of people forced to move lies in the fact that it is constantly breaking records as the largest ever seen. Aid assumes a broad meaning, ranging from aid in transit to aid in integration. In this context, education has the potential to contribute to the well-being of refugees, as well as it contributes to their social and political participation, not only in the host countries, but also in their countries of origin. The benefits that education can provide to refugees’ lives can be seen not only in the literature, but also in the narratives from refugees. In the void between the statelessness and the international protection, the outcasts are in a fundamentally sensitive place for rights protection. The locally positioned analysis helps to investigate the spaces where nation-states do not always reach.
