Abstract
The focus of this research is on lacking transboundary communication and knowledge sharing systems between Great Green Wall members as well as between transnational, national and local level in Nigeria. This restrains coordination and collaboration between project developers, which does not enable the ability to capitalise on the positive experiences, avoid the negative developments and in this way incorporate the lessons learned. This research analyses the interconnectedness of the social and ecological layer at play in governing and implementing the Great Green Wall in Nigeria.
