Abstract
This thesis addresses the collaborative aspects of the internet artwork mouchette.org. By utilizing concepts from different fields such as art history, the philosophy of technology, cyberfeminism, media art conservation and sociology, the possibility of co-authoring that the artwork offers and the issues the artwork's collaborative dimensions raise are analyzed. Specifically, the relationship between a network of co-authors and the website's original creator is examined.
