Findings reveal that both stakeholder management activities and firm logic are of influential towards achieving project success by either implementing management tools or with a convergent logic being necessary to achieve success. However, several management activities are more important than others. Moreover, the presence of a relationship between stakeholder management and firm logic has been identified. This research contributes to the ongoing shift towards open innovation between organizational networks, offering practical insights but also adding upon previous research on this topic, contributing towards solutions for broader societal problems.
