Abstract
In this study it was researched whether there are features of music that have an influence on music being perceived as human made or computer generated, and if they exist, which musical features they are. There were multiple features that had significant results. These features followed three main themes: repetition, tonality, and pitch change. Melodies with more repetition, less tonality, and little change in pitch were deemed more artificial. If someone wants to create an artificial composer which generates human-sounding music, it might be useful to pay attention to these three features.
