Event-related potentials (ERPs) are commonly used in Brain-Computer Interfacing. A special type of ERP is the so called 'error potential', which is present whenever a subject makes or detects an error. This study con rms the potential presence of an error potential when subjects detect spelling mistakes in written text, by performing an experiment using Rapid Serial Visual Representation. This particular error potential has potential applications for dyslexia patients.en_US
