This thesis reports on the effect of self-efficacy on personal initiative and the effects of autonomy and organizational structure thereon. Regression analysis of a survey of 91 employees of a FMCG company showed, as hypothesized, self-efficacy determines personal initiative. The effects of autonomy and organizational structure do not significantly influence the effect of self-efficacy on personal initiative.en_US
