Abstract
This thesis aims to bridge the gap between literature and practice on the subject of the use of online video in art class. An extensive literature review is combined with qualitative research to paint an image of art classrooms using online video that is informed by literature and theory but with a depth that is added by an empirical study. The practical dimension that art teachers find important is apparent and lacking in literature and is one several examples of how more qualitative research is needed in this field.
