Abstract
We are living in a world where the influence of robots and Artificial Intelligence is growing every day. Not just in our schools and in our homes, but also on our battlefields. When the first robot starts making the autonomous decision on whether or not to use lethal force, questions will arise regarding ethics and responsibility, certainly when things go wrong. In this thesis developments in Artificial Intelligence will be analysed and I will suggest to stop increasing the degree of autonomy in military robotics.
