Abstract

This study investigated the potential effect of the sharing of new knowledge between machines in a non-dyadic hybrid human-machine team on Entitativity, Trust, and attribution of Mind. This was done using an experiment, in which participants performed a simple task with robot teammates. No significant effects were found, but insights into the wider implications of these psychological group effects are discussed. Possible future research includes exploring more realistic scenarios and using objective task performance data.
