Time-consuming communication and misconceptions between ow de- signers and software developers lower e ciency in ow design processes for Digital Health Assistants. A new visualization model for ows and a tool to create ows in a visual manner may achieve e ciency improvements. To dis- cover the potential gain, a visualization model and accompanying tool was designed and improved through a series of interviews with stakeholders in the ow design process. During the interviews, both technical and creative requirements were assessed. The tool nds the middle ground by demanding the necessary technical speci cations, yet allowing for creative designs. The results indicate that a standardized format for ows presumably simpli es conversion into code, that errors will be discovered earlier in the design pro- cess and that a priority-based system is deemed to be partially capable of managing simultaneously executed ows.
