Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by language impairment, resulting in communication difficulties. This study aimed to identify and prioritize outcomes important to individuals with PPA and gain insights into the barriers experienced by them in their daily lives due to communication problems. This study provides a greater understanding of the wishes and needs of people with PPA regarding clinical speech and language care, and the barriers they experience in daily life. Moreover, the person-centered approach of this research contributes to the development of a core outcome set for much needed research into interventions for people with PPA.
