The present study addressed the application of Dörnyei’s L2 Motivational Self System in a Computer-Assisted Language Learning prototype. It specifically examined how the use of possible selves enhancing activities affect learners’ perception on their future self images and L2 motivation. 16 Indonesian adults participated in a 3-day-pilot project. Three motivation surveys were administrated to collect data of the strength of participants’ ideal and ought-to L2 self and motivation status in different conditions. Besides, all participants were interviewed in a focus group evaluation at the last day of the pilot. The results showed that there was no significant effect of the implemented possible selves enhancing elements on the growth of the strength of participants’ ideal and ought-to L2 self. However, the CALL courseware effectively motivated the participants to learn English according to the results from the focus group interview.en_US
