dc.description.abstract | This qualitative case-study research combines insights from the literature on transition management and discourse analysis to explore the ‘theory of change’ (framing) of Dutch niche-actors operating in the field of the Circular Economy (CE), in particular within the national network ‘Cirkelstad’. By analysing the various frames through the lens of discourse analysis, underlying assumptions, power structures and links to related discourses could be detected and reflected upon based on the existing literature. The research hereby fills a current research gap and contributes to the understanding of discourses and their implications for the concept of CE. It furthermore provides insights into the role of discourses and frames within the broader research field of sustainability transformation. | en_US |
