Abstract

InterSerims, a globally operating manufacturing company, is facing significant supply chain challenges. This study investigates how supply chain risk management (SCRM) influences organizational resilience, specifically in the setting of global manufacturing. The study takes a case study method approach, combining Dynamic Capabilities Theory (DCT) and High- Reliability Theory (HRT), to investigate the relationship between risk management and resilience. The findings show that systematic and proactive SCRM, when combined with strategic planning, strong supplier relationships, and clear governance structures, enhances organizational resilience by allowing organizations to anticipate, adapt to, and recover from disruptions. The study offers both theoretical insights and practical solutions for enhancing organizational resilience through effective SCRM.
