dc.description.abstractThis study aims to look at how language learners in the workplace behave when they use CALL that is specifically designed related to their job environment. The data was collected from a 4-day-pilot project in which 16 participants from various departments in a hotel were asked to test Novolanguage courseware designed for learning English in hospitality environment. Before using the courseware, after testing one lesson in the courseware without motivational enhancement elements, and after testing one lesson in the courseware with motivational enhancement elements, the participants were asked to fill in questionnaires related to attitude. Focus group interview was also conducted to get open answers from the participants. Positive results indicate that specific CALL courseware used in this study is potentially effective to be implemented as a solution of the constraints experienced by learners at the workplace who have ver! y limited time to attend English lessons in the classroom.en_US
