dc.description.abstractThis research tries to find an answer to the question whether there is a division visible between the United Nations and the European Union with regard to the deployment of military operations. The existence of this division will be examined in the light of two theories of International Relations; humanitarianism and realism. Hereinafter this introduction will point out the adopted course of this research, the objectives, the social and scientific relevance, the content and the formulated central hypothesis and sub hypotheses. en_US
