Abstract
This research gives indications that target-driven incentives lead to undesired working behavior based on empirical data from the field. Data have been gathered from observations, in-depth interviews and content analysis within a recruitment company. The role of the organizational context regarding the presence of undesired working behavior will be discussed. Indications are given that aspects from the organizational culture and the implementation of the HR system affects the presence of undesired working behavior.
