Abstract
Before you lies the master thesis ‘The relation between self-efficacy and job performance’, a qualitative research study into the dynamics between the factors that influence self-efficacy and job performance. This master thesis was written to obtain my master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Business Analysis and Modelling and was carried out in the period from January 2021 to June 2021. The aim of this study was to provide knowledge about how the different factors of self-efficacy and job performance influence each other, influence self-efficacy and job performance, and how they affect the relation between self-efficacy and job performance. First of all, I would like to especially thank my supervisor prof. dr. A.M.A. van Deemen, whose guidance and commitment has helped me greatly in executing this research. Secondly, I would like to thank Ardan Aldershof for allowing me to gather the data for this research at Karel de Grote College. I would also like to thank my 2nd examinator dr. ir. V. de Gooyert for also providing me with feedback throughout the process of writing my master thesis. Finally, I would like to thank my family and friends for supporting me throughout the entire process.
