Overpopulation is putting a lot of pressure on our current natural resources. This problem asks for a transition to a circular economy, where the focus is on the optimal use, and reuse of raw materials in numerous parts of the production chain. Cascading is a way to contribute to a circular economy. It focuses on using materials in multiple phases while maintaining the highest possible resource value. Considering the lack of research on circular cascade chains and how to design them, this thesis explores how supply chain collaboration needs to be organized in order to realize a cascade supply chain by studying two existing circular cascade supply chains in the textile industry. Based on four concepts (future visions, actor learning, network dynamics, and business model), an overview of supply chain collaboration was created. An important takeout is that future visions and value propositions should be multi-layered, focusing on creating ecological, economic, and social impact. In addition, creating an open environment seems important for collective learning, and trust is important when it comes to sharing knowledge, resources, and materials. This study delivered 16 propositions suggesting how supply chain collaboration should be organized in order to create a cascade model.en_US
