Abstract
In deze thesis staat het eerste antisemitische pamflet, Bagatelles pour un massacre (1937), van romanschrijver Louis-Ferdinand Céline (1894-1961) centraal. Met behulp van de door Jérôme Meizoz' recent ontwikkelde posture-theorie onderzoeken wij hoe het tweede posture van Céline, de "posture d'incompris", tot stand is gekomen en hoe deze naar voren komt in Bagatelles pour un massacre dat net voor WOII verschijnt. Na een uitleg van het theoretisch kader en een introductie op het leven van Céline, onderzoeken wij in het laatste hoofdstuk aan de hand van verschillende tekstuele thema's waaronder zwarte humor, de "je pamphlétaire", autobiografische elementen en argotisch taalgebruik, hoe het posture d'incompris naar voren wordt gebracht in Bagatelles pour un massacre.
