Abstract

This research examines the integration of creativity in cultural education within primary schools, focusing on Liemers Kunstwerk as a case study. The "Monitor Culture Education Primary Education 2022-2023" highlights the significant benefits of collaboration between schools and cultural organizations like Liemers Kunstwerk, enriching educational experiences and fostering social and cognitive development. Liemers Kunstwerk, a multifunctional arts and cultural hub, exemplifies broader trends in the Dutch cultural sector, emphasizing innovation and collaboration. Despite challenges such as varying municipal policies and educational demands, the organization adopts adaptive approaches to navigate these complexities. Interviews with stakeholders, including teachers and parents, reveal how creative pedagogy is applied at Liemers Kunstwerk, promoting 21st-century skills such as creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. This case study underscores the transformative impact of creative pedagogy and cultural education on children's development, preparing them for future challenges in a globalized world.
