Abstract

In today's fast-paced environment, employees and organizations face increasing pressures, necessitating the need for adaptation, while maintaining employee well-being and mental health. Project professionals in particular often face challenging work conditions, making it crucial to provide resources and a supportive environment. This study investigated to what extent organizational resilience is associated with individual resilience and employee wellbeing and whether psychological safety moderates these relationships in project professionals. To answer this research question, participants from a German company in the built environment sector completed an online survey (N=82). A MANCOVA was conducted controlling for age, gender, tenure, department and managing position. The results suggest that organizational resilience is positively correlated with employee well-being and that psychological safety is positively correlated with both individual resilience and employee well-being. The moderation effect of psychological safety on the relationship between organizational and individual resilience was inconclusive. Keywords: Organizational resilience, psychological safety, employee well-being
