The research is trying to explain the lack of migration flow from the unemployed Spanish youth to the Netherlands. With the concept of labour migration the current situation was explained. Three aspects came forward as major hindering factors for the establishment of labour migration, that were the factors of education, culture and legal boundaries. The main issue turned out to be twofold. The lack of communication about the legal boundaries on the one hand, which makes it hard for the Spanish youngsters to know about the possibilities at the Dutch labour market. On the other hand, the aspect of culture forms a major obstacle. This was explained by both the theory of Hofstede and the interviewees. The hindering cultural factors hide in both the difficulty of adapting to a new language as in the importance of family within the Spanish culture.en_US
