Abstract
This thesis dives in to the little explored field of Dutch-Hungarian bilateral relations during the end phase of the cold war. While the belief existed that there was little contact between small countries from different sides of the iron curtain, it actually played a big role. This thesis dives in to the different domains of economic, cultural and humanitarian relations while also considering the further development of supranational organisations.
