dc.description.abstract | Prior research on innovative work behavior points out that the process of innovative work behavior needs to be stimulated and supported to have a better chance at success. Co-working spaces are such places which are set up to support and stimulate individuals. Even though co-working spaces are gaining more attention in academic research, empirical research regarding the influence on innovative work behavior is lacking. This research provides insights in how individuals perceive the influence of co-working spaces on their innovative work behavior. The data for this research was obtained through semi-structured interviews. The semi-structured interviews were coded and analysed using an indicative approach. The inductive analysis resulted in four categories, which describe how individuals perceive the influence of co-working spaces on their innovative work behavior: The co-working host, group composition, social intensity and internal knowledge events. This research examines the influence of co-working spaces on supporting innovative work behavior. This research contributes to the existing research regarding the influence of co-working spaces, by providing empirical data from the perspective of the individual | en_US |
