Brief description of the study: An empirical exploration of the relationship between talent management and diversity management at a multicultural organization in the high-tech industry in the Netherlands. Adopting both an organizational and individual level perspective, this paper aims to shed light on how this relationship plays out and is experienced. Adopting a paradox lens reveals a number of tensions both within and between talent management and diversity management. The gendered nature of the industry and workplace is exposed, where an output-oriented culture appears to holds particular impact. Suggestions and further research are called for in efforts to respond to tensions in order to align talent management and diversity management.en_US
