In this project, we compare learning English vocabulary with Augmented Reality (AR) to learning English vocabulary without AR by children. This is done in the form of an AR quiz like application versus a non-AR quiz like application. An experiment is run with a class of a number of Dutch children around the age of 8, split up into 2 groups. The design of the experiment is within-subject and between subject through the multiple sessions and the data is collected through a test at the end of each session. There was no signi cant di erence found between the apps. It is possible that this result can be partially explained by some design problems of the experiment and tests.en_US
