Abstract

Biomedical waste management (BMWM) is a vital component of healthcare and many risks are associated with its incorrect implementa􀆟on. Unfortunately, correct BMWM is something many countries worldwide s􀆟ll struggle with, especially low-income countries. Improving BMWM is a vital and urgent task to improve healthcare, but current efforts are not yet sufficient to tackle this challenge. This study aimed to first explore psychological predictors of correct BMWM behaviour and second apply a behaviour change interven􀆟on based on the established predictors.
