Abstract
Research on shared control is increasing tremendously in recent years. In order
to stimulate research on shared control in multi-agent tasks, a new research platform
is proposed for conducting research on shared control in multi-agent tasks. This
platform uses Sphero robotic balls as robots and a tablet to create user input.
Requirements for this research platform are extracted from multiple papers on
shared control and used for evaluation. By evaluation of these requirements by
myself and experts in the field, the research platform is tentatively deemed suitable
for conducting research on shared control. More research has to be done, using this
platform, to fully confirm this conclusion.
