Several researchers have been studying human communication using experimental semiotics games. One example is the Tacit Communication Game (TCG). It has been shown that humans can quickly negotiate communicative signals (symbols) in this game. Yet, it is not clear to what extent this depends on the cognitive biases that humans bring to the task and the physical properties of the medium in which the signals can be created (i.e., the interface). On an embodied embedded cognitive perspective, the interface is expected to be an important enabling factor. In this thesis, the effect of different interfaces on the communicative strategies employed by participants will be discussed. Keywords: Embodied embedded cognition, Tacit communication gameen_US
