This thesis presents an investigation of how environmental settings influence the appearance of altruism within small groups of agents. A set of simulation environments has been setup in which agents can perform simple actions, such as harvesting, and potentially cooperate, through sharing resources. Agents with different types of behaviours are being tested in different environmental settings. In every setting predictions are compared to simulation results and analysed and reflected upon through statistics and observations. This thesis attempts to give an overview of altruism, survival, consumption and many other parameters that occur in the simulation. Its main goal is to observe the influence of environments on altruism performance.en_US
